The conversation is focused around the dragon attack earlier. Once we’re inside the Orphanage, our rival Nora leads the way to a meeting happening upstairs. Either way, we’ll need to pick it up at a later date. I’m thinking we either need to have something happen story-related for it to unlock, or we just need to click on a second one in order for this first warpstone to activate. It says that we can’t access it right now. It will allow us to warp to different parts of the world. Near the traveling shop, we see a weird red gem on top of a golden stand. 20 Nexotraps should last us for a little while. Nexotraps cost 50 coins and with all the grinding I did down in the caves, we have almost 3,000. My intuition is usually right about these kinds of things, there was a traveling salesman near the orphanage. That seems pretty overpowered this early in the game. Now he has 58% passive experience gained from all battle experience. Opening this chest gives us another Synergy Core(III)! Of course, I’m just going to toss it on Mara.

I worked my way back to the Orphanage and saw the gold chest to the right is something we can access with the pickaxe in our inventory.

Once I get those, I can do a little more exploring. I realized that I’m almost out of traps, and it might be better to just continue with the story until I’m able to purchase Nexotraps from a store. Once I got to the east side, I picked up a few of the items and caught some new Nexomon. We can grab up the last items in this area and then see what’s over to the east. We can equip 4 cores to each Nexomon, so we will be able to stack a couple more of these if we want. I chose to also equip this one to Mara and just keep powering him up passively. This core copies over 8% of the experience received by other teammates. I’m glad I came to the west side, because there was a Synergy Core(I) in the brown box. There were a lot of bushes over here, so I continued to power up my Nexomon and see if there are any more starters that we can pick up.

West seemed like the better choice between the two spots. Once I left there, I wanted to check out the places to the west and east, where our rivals had run off to before we faced that dragon. I headed back into the cave that we had been in for a while to collect any shards available. We should probably rack up as many of these shards for a later point in the story.
